Instead of having a 3 intensity level, Breakthrough 8 allows you to adjust between 5 levels. If you like a lighter massage you can start with 1 and move your way up to 5. In addition, you want to be able to control the speed of your massage as well. If your lower back needs a harder massage then you can increase the speed of the massage from 1 to 5 as well. 2. How many boxes does it come in and is it easy to install?

This chair comes in 2 large boxes. There are easy to follow instructions so you can easily install the chair. If you get stuck at any time, you can call us at (818)864-1219 and we will have one of our technicians help you get it installed.

3. How heavy is this chair?

This chair is one of the heaviest chairs ever built. It is 404 pounds. It is so heavy because we use top of the line commercial grade materials to build the chair so it will last a long time. There are wheels at the bottom of the chair if you want to move it around your room.

4. Do I need a special outlet to use this massage chair?

No, you do not need a 220 outlet. This massage chair is made to be in anyone's home and will work perfectly on a 110 outlet.

5. Can I leave the massage chair plugged in all the time or will it wear the chair down?

Yes, you can leave it plugged in all the time. We have engineered the Breakthrough 8 to be just like your computer. You can leave it plugged in all the time, just turn the power off if you're not using it.

6. Does this chair work for someone 6'3" tall?

Yes it does, it is made for short and tall people. There are leg extensions that can easily be pushed out to fit any height.

I have had the 8 for a year. I bought it for my wife's birthday last January. Now I use it more than her. Excellent for your deep back massages. It is a slender chair. Please look at the sizes. It leans all the way back. Excellent to use before you go to sleep. Excellent for feet, hips, lower back, shoulders, and neck. That is pretty much it. It DOES TAKE SOME getting used to. Maybe a month of consistent use. The features are a lot.

Everything about the chair is great it took me 30 minutes to put together another 15 minutes to figure where I want it in the house. I've only had this chair for a few days but so far it's great! I'm short...about 5'1" and I had hoped to find a smaller massage chair but couldn't find one with very good ratings so I decided that my height didn't matter as much as the ratings. In a second it began its massage on my back, neck & shoulders...then the arms & lower legs were squeezed with the perfect strength of air pressure, which I LOVED! When it's back all the way the rollers massaged my feet and it was GREAT! I was delighted to check a few of the other buttons and it felt like heaven. The only function I won't use again was the 'stretch' button. It held my short arms in place while the chair reclined so I had to remove my arms from the original position or it would have pulled my arms too much.
